Night Sunshine ~ 2007

LOOKED BACK
IN RETROSPECT
MISSED THE SKY
TONIGHT THE SKY
IS STILL RAINING
BITS OF FIRE

SHE'S OFF TO
LA LA LAND...
NIGHT SUNSHINE
MY DARLING
STAR HORIZON

IS SOMEWHERE OUT THERE
SHINING BLACK
IN THE DARKNESS

WHERE
THERE IS A LOVE
THAT CANNOT BE
CONTAINED
WHERE
THERE IS A LOVE
THAT CANNOT BE
CONTAINED

IT IS HERE
WHERE
I AM BEGINNING
TO FIND FOREVER

Sunshine Boy - By Harreson 2008
He awakes to find himself
Still full of this heart he once felt

Wishing he could get past just this
He misses her kiss more then he likes to admit

Upon this noon's light
A futile strength inside

"No more" he cry's
As if the tree's and sun were at fault

Shed in doubt
a hum rang out

His music still inside
His note remains

Not to complain
The sun shine is his again

Saturday Night Sunshine Girl - by Glo
- To Remember How Good It Is 2008

This
Saturday Night Sunshine Girl

Burns sweetgrass
Sits cross legged
And Braids her hair in many
For that hint of what remains unseen

Shadow and light mixed up in the branches of a tree.
Point at the sun to pin it down. Describe it in words.
Backwards
And Forwards.
The Creator spreads out over and through everything.
'Cause without the sunshine we would not be able
To even see, so tell me this

"Just like a leaf
Fallin from a tree
So far from this
Cold society"
"Yeah like any
Of you even know
It's all been a show"

And even when all hope was lost to abandon
The sun still shone on you and me
God kept, steady watch
To guide our feet so that we may meet
And stand strong
'Cause life grows
Even in the darkest places

"Cause I've found
That the key to the
Door of success is
Doin' wHat one should
Yeah
When one should
And
Never havin' to
Excuse oneself"

I have turned around
to finally accept that he loved me even though
it was not how I thought that Love should be
Do you ever really even see the sunlight?
Or just the substance it falls upon
Backwards, Forwards, Over
And through these veins it
Courses

And Hope Returns
Just like a leaf
Fallin from a tree
The sun still shone
On you and me
